Tätä vahvuutta käytetään nypläyksessä mm. pöydänjakajien tekemiseen, paljon käytetty vahvuus myös kudonnassa. Varastovärien lisäksi tilauksesta saa 16/2 värikartan muita sävyjä - niiden toimitusaika vaihtelee 2 vkosta 1-2 kuukauteen riippuen tehtaan ja maahantuojan varastotilanteesta.
Yhdessä 125 g painavassa puolassa on 690 metriä lankaa.
