Turkoosin sävyinen - aikaisempaa aavistuksen tukevampi - muovikalvo, jolla voidaan kiinnittää nypläysmalli mynsteripahviin. Kiiltämätön muovi ja turkoosi sävy ovat nyplätessä miellyttäviä silmille. Tämän muovikalvon liima ei ole niin kovasti takertuva kuin esim. kontaktimuovin, joten se on helpompi kiinnittää. Erityisesti silloin, jos valmis nypläystyö tärkätään, kannattaa nypläysmalli suojata muovikalvolla. Silloin voidaan tärkkäys suorittaa mallin päällä ja työn muoto säilyy hyvin.
